The Open Monument
2019
A festival centre in Conwy, informed by civic typologies to assert social authority while rejecting the fortified language of Conwy Castle in favour of inclusivity. Sculptural primary forms and concave-scalloped-tiled-façades reinterpret monumentality whilst opposing the convex castle turrets.
